Updating your bikini wardrobe and becoming more sustainable should be on every woman's to-do list. At least we at Infinity Eco think so. And hopefully, if you are reading this article. Chances are that you think so too.
With the great exposure and new appealing styles that are being released by today's fast fashion swimwear brands, it's very tempting to buy that cheap bikini. Only to be disappointed, not only by the quality but the impact that a less conscious choice has on our environment.
We are not here to give you a pessimistic view of the world and pressure you into buying sustainable and eco-friendly swimwear. On the contrary. We believe that if you want to buy cheap non-sustainable swimwear. You should. That's the greatness of today's society. The freedom of choice. Never in documented history have we as consumers had so many opportunities at our fingertips.
We are here to provide you with a choice. And it's up to you if you want to take it. Without having to feel bad about it. Sustainable or not.
You shouldn't have to compromise
As a sustainable swimwear brand, we believe that your swimwear should not only use reborn materials. They should look amazing on your body too.
You as a woman wearing one of our pieces should feel confident, beautiful, and sexy. You shouldn't have to compromise. This is always our starting point when designing any new swimwear styles.
Supporting the environment comes as a second focus to us. It might sound harsh. But let's be honest here. Who would buy a bikini that looks like an old dipper, sustainable or not? I wouldn't, and I don't think you would either.
Sustainable Fabrics We Use
All our swimwear styles use Econyl, regenerated nylon made from ocean waste such as fishing nets and other plastics. Considering how much plastics already exists we don't see why we shouldn't utilize and repurpose what's already available to us.
But just to be clear. The fabrics are not only sustainable and regenerated. They are also one of the best quality fabrics available in the market today. Trust us. In our product development we've gone through countless fabrics. And the Econyl are butter soft, luxe fabrics that will last countless seasons. It's a win-win. We provide our customers with the best quality swimwear in the market while at the same time help clean up the oceans and work towards a more sustainable future.
Ethical Swimwear Production
All the bikinis from our sustainable swimwear collections are manufactured mainly in Bali. We have personally visited and vetted all the factories. We've talked to the people, see how they work looked into their wages, working hours, etc. and can ensure that the people involved in every seam are being paid fairly and work under ethical conditions.
If you are considering buying a new bikini, you can still shop responsibly by supporting and buying from sustainable and eco-friendly swimwear brands.
